{W Family}

Meet the W Family. This has to be one of the sweetest families I have ever photographed. Mom won a free photo session with me in a program that I assisted with through UT Extension (I was working there part-time last fall). They have endured more than their fair share of hard times. Dad was diagnosed 9 years ago with a stage 4 malignant brain tumor. He had surgery once and then several months later the cancer was back. He was given less than 3 months to live until God sent a doctor who changed all of that. 9 years later he's still going strong and has lived to see both of his boys almost all grown up! Mom & Dad have been married for almost 22 years and still just as happy as they ever were.
Another reason for our photo session...their oldest son will be going into the army in a couple of months. Although they believe it is very honorable and are very proud of him they will miss him so much! I just had to tell their amazing story. Our God is an awesome God!!! Miracles do happen and this family is proof of it! Thank you so much for coming out and allowing me to spend the afternoon with your sweet family. I look forward to seeing Patrick for his senior session in a few months! Thanks boys, for being good sports about the pictures and Joseph, for being my assistant today=). I hope you enjoy your sneak peek.

So 2 of them are obviously Titans fans (notice I said Titans first -ha,ha) and the other 2 are Steelers fans so when it's game time around their house-it's on!
I couldn't decide if I liked this one better in color (above) or in black/white (below).

The one above happens to be my fav of them together!

{jax}+1 year

"This very moment is a seed from which the flowers of tomorrow's happiness grow."

I can't believe this sweet little man is over a year old now! I have been taking pictures of him since he was in his mommy's tummy! I have really enjoyed watching him grow this year. I love this first picture. It's just something about it. I don't know. Here's your sneak peek, mom. Enjoy!
